Scott was absolutely amazing! From the start he talked with me on the phone for a few hours patiently answering all of my questions, and from then on was super responsive by email or phone. He was very professional in all aspects and accommodating to whatever we needed! We chose to do uplighting too, which looked glamorous in gold for dinnertime but also fun flashing colors for dancing. Scott also did a great job organizing our bridal party and lining us up for the intros. He picked the perfect music for the dinner but to also get people up and dancing all night! We highly recommend Cape Tunes for any wedding or event on the cape, we were extremely pleased, thank you Scott!

We had a great experience with Scott for our wedding at the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club. Scott worked with us in advance to learn our music preferences and the flow of the day. He also worked a very long day with a reception and after party. Scott provided uplighting for our reception as well and worked with our coordinator to use the best possible lighting. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend anyone use Scott for their wedding or event. He was extremely easy to work with and fit in seamlessly with how we wanted the day to unfold.

Cape Tunes was great to work with. Scott responded quickly to all the emails and questions I had. He had great ideas and helped make me feel confident that they wedding day would go smoothly. The day of the wedding, Scott was awesome. He was upbeat and ready to have fun. Everything went off without a hitch. During the night, any questions I had, he was there to answer. He played all the right music. The dance floor was packed and everyone had a great time, especially with his 90's remix!! I would highly recommend Cape Tunes to anyone. We also used their photo booth which was a big hit also. They had so many different signs and props that people could use. When we got home from the wedding we loved going through the book they had made and reading all the messages from the guests.

We hired Cape Tunes at basically the last minute due to our previous DJ breaking our contract. Scott was above and beyond AMAZING! He was so easy to work with and incredibly helpful. I highly recommend Scott Rosenthal & his team at Cape Tunes if you are looking for the ABSOLUTE BEST DJ on Cape Cod. The first time my husband & I met Scott we knew right away that he was going to be perfect to have as the MC of our wedding. Not only is Scott one of the nicest & most genuine people we have ever met, he really impressed us by being in constant communication with us in the time leading up to our celebration. On the day of our wedding, we were BLOWN AWAY by his professionalism, flexibility, & clear desire to make sure that everyone had the best possible experience that a DJ can provide.
Scott went out of his way to check in with us regularly to make sure we were enjoying ourselves & allowed us to make adjustments to the schedule as needed. The music choices that he made were SO ON POINT!!! The songs honestly couldn’t have been any better & made for a great atmosphere. What really impressed us about Scott was his ability to read the tone of the room & adjust the music/lighting based on what was most effective throughout the reception. Not only did he play all of the songs that we requested, he adjusted the volume of the music to allow our guests to comfortably converse during dinner & turned up the energy to get everyone on the dance floor after dinner.
The photo-booth that Cape tunes provided was a HUGE HIT with our wedding guests & the setup/tear-down processes was quick, efficient & didn’t disrupt the celebration in any way, shape or form. We 100% recommend it to any couple thinking about having a photo-booth at their reception. We keep looking at all of the pictures & messages in the guestbook and are SO excited to have it as a keepsake for the rest of our lives.
I can’t tell you how many people came up to us the next day raving about the playlist! Multiple guests even told us how everyone must have lost 5+ pounds from all of the dancing!! We were very impressed & pleased with the services provided by Scott & the Cape Tunes team & highly recommend them to any couple who are looking for a fun, professional, and flexible DJ at their wedding.

Scott Rosenthal is the best DJ there is! His focus on the customer and professionalism removed any hint of chaos from the day. He worked with us on our introductory song when our original musician backed out at the last minute. It was perfect. He researched the song, filtered out the background noise and timed the intro perfectly. Throughout the event he kept everyone dancing and happy. He arranged all of our playlists and salted in several great tunes we did not have on the list. His attention to detail and his ability to communicate with us immediately when questions arose made the experience all that more exceptional. Highly recommend using Cape Tunes. Scott was our DJ for or wedding and was very responsive whenever I had questions about the schedule and flow, uplighting and anything I asked! He was so friendly the day of and picked the perfect uplighting color to match my decor. My guests were anxious to get dancing almost an hour early and he was very flexible and went with the flow with ease! Scott was AMAZING! From the initial phone call we knew he would be the perfect fit and he was! He works with you on all aspects. I wanted a video version of the song for my dad and he was able to use that and get it down to the length we wanted. We provided Scott a very long list of songs to be played and the playlist he created from our list was spectacular. The dance floor was packed all night! I have had the pleasure to know Scott and the Cape Tunes company for the past 7-8 years, working in the industry. I knew that when it came time for my own wedding, there is nobody else I would trust with my big day! I have seen so many bands and DJ's, and I knew that Cape Tunes was the only way to go. Scott is always responsive, and answers emails right away, and is very organized. Scott takes a personal interest in you and your wedding day, to make everything as perfect as possible. He had the entire dance floor packed for the night, to the point that our guests were refusing to get off the dance floor! Cape Tunes set up uplighting at cocktail hour, and it made such a big impact on the space, and made it so beautiful! The night ran very smoothly, and he was right on time with all the formalities. Unfortunately our venue did not have enough space for a photo booth, but if it did, we would have booked it though him as well- they are wonderful! So happy we had Scott/Cape Tunes for our wedding day, we wouldn't want anybody else!

I can't thank Cape Tunes enough, specifically Scott, for playing a huge role in how perfect my wedding day went. Right from the first initial contact, he was extremely accommodating, helpful, and willing to work with me on any ideas I had. He answered my e-mails very quckly and always gave a detailed answer of exactly the information I was looking for.
When my wedding day came, I was so impressed with the professionalism that he displayed. Once we were finished with our formal pictures, he immediately greeted my husband and I as well as our families and wedding party. He went over the whole introduction process with us and explained how things were going to go. He then lined us up and went over correct pronunciations of everyones names.
The music he played was exactly what I was looking for and did and amazing job keeping everyone entertained the whole night. We also got a Photo Booth through them and it was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding.
We had a small issue with my husbands pants. They ripped right in the crotch and a few of our friends were in the bathroom quickly sewing them. This of course happened right after the mother/son dance and right before the father/daughter dance. Scott was great at playing a filler song and helping us get everything situated while we got his pants under control. It was actually pretty funny!
He took so much stress off of my shoulders which you all know is so important while planning a wedding. I seriously can't say enough about these guys and highly recommend them! If your looking for a reliable, personable, and reasonably priced DJ, these are your guys 100%! Thank you so much again for everything!

Our wedding was this past weekend and we had Scott R. As our DJ. I cannot say enough good things about this guy. He took our requests and put them together in such a way that made it all work. The night just flowed. He was classy, friendly and I don't know what to say, we just really liked him. Everyone was on the dance floor all night. He also gave us an incredible price. All his equipment was professional. All our reception entrance music was all edited and cued to the exact spot we would've wanted before we even asked. When our mother son dance was running a little long, we could just give a head nod and he faded it out perfectly. Hire this guy.

Loved every interaction we had with Scott from our first phone call to him (which lasted about an hour) to every e-mail (which he responded to almost always within minutes) he was absolutely wonderful to work with. Scotty was an awesome DJ! He did a great job! When there was a mishap before introductions he did a great job keeping the rest of our guests occupied. He kept the flow and pacing of the night really well. For the entire dancing portion of our reception there wasn't a minute where our dance floor wasn't packed! Scotty did a great job starting off with some swingin' oldies to get the older folks out on the dance floor. He played a great mix of oldies and current music to please all guests. All songs were fun and easy to dance to. Many people remarked that it as a great party and the music was excellent! Scotty even opened packages of glow sticks, necklaces etc and placed them on his DJ table for the other guests. He also invited our guests to help themselves to the basket of flip flops in front of his table for comfortable dancing! Scotty did a great job following our instructions for playlist. He did a great job announcing the "anniversary dance" which was important to us as was the father daughter dance and the introduction we wanted him to read before the dance. The only issue was that the venue was loud the the tables furthest from the dance floor couldn't hear too well and took a while to quiet down, but that was no fault of the DJ.

Scott Rosenthal came highly recommended to us and I'm so glad that he did! Hands down, I could not have found a better DJ for my wedding. Within my planning process, he was constantly available for any questions I may have had, typically responding to an email within an hour or so. He is extremely down to earth and you immediately feel like he's a friend. For my ceremony, the timing of each song within was perfect and the transition between each was exact. From prior reviews I had heard and read about Scott, I knew that I could trust him as the professional when it came to song choices. So my specific requests were pretty minimal, which worked out to be great. Each and every song that he played was perfect and had everyone out on the dance floor. I'm still getting feedback in regard to how incredible the playlist was and how great Scott was. For my husband and I's first song, I requested a specific version that required grabbing it off YouTube. Scott edited the beginning and end of that version precisely and it was 100% what we wanted. I know that a DJ can be one of the most, if not THE most, important parts of a wedding when it comes to it being fun, engaging, and memorable. Scott is the epitome of a true professional who makes a wedding just that. I am truly thankful that I chose Scott to be a part of the biggest day of our lives and will always remember how he truly made it as wonderful as it was.

Absolutely fantastic! DJ Scott at Cape Tunes took care of the audio for the whole day - outdoor ceremony, tented cocktail hour, indoor reception - flawlessly. He was also very receptive to our requests which really made everything feel personal and special. Of the multitude of things to stress about on the big day I can honestly say Cape Tunes took 100% of the worry away and made the celebration come alive. I was able to send Scott links to songs that were more particular for our needs, like a specific rock version of "Canon in D." Before the father/daughter dance, I was pretty tired and feeling too hot. I knew I wouldn't last the entire song, so Scott let me signal him when I couldn't dance anymore. There were also songs I wanted played a second time and Scott was happy to replay them. I also didn't expect to hear a song as my husband and I left the reception, so that was a lovely surprise.

One of the best decisions I made while planning our wedding was booking Scott/Cape Tunes! With all the busyness that comes with wedding planning (especially during that last month) it was so great to know that I didn’t have anything to worry about with Scott because he has so much experience and he knows our wedding venue (Ocean Edge Resort) like the back of his hand. Scott was amazing, that's all I can say. He was so willing to chat with us and ensure that we had such a great time at our wedding, that he went way above and beyond. Because he had done a wedding at the same venue the night before ours, he left the uplighting there for us to use...which he just threw in for free! That really made the room pop and because of Scott, our wedding was amazing. Before we even hired us, he chatted with us for almost 2 hours while he waited in the Dallas airport. That just goes to show that he goes above and beyond for his clients, even clients who may not end up hiring him...which we did anyway, I mean, it was a no brainer. In all reality Scott deserves a million stars! At the end of the day what people are going to remember is if they had a good time at your wedding. Scott had every single person out of the chair dancing it was completely unreal. My husband and I snuck out with the photographer to take sunset pictures and when we came back literally every person was on the dance floor and we weren't even there. Scott at Cape Tunes was heaven sent. He was absolutely awesome, professional, helpful, and a great personality to DJ a wedding. The whole process of picking music and "homework" was awesome. The contract was simple and thorough and if I had any questions about anything I would receive a response in less than 8 hours via email.
He also saved me a giant head headache when I told him I was looking on Groupon for a photobooth. He actually yelped the company - which had horrible reviews including them just not showing up- and sent it my way. We ended up having to switch venues - long story- and didn't have room for a photobooth that I was thinking of getting from Cape Tunes but thank God for Scott being an awesome human being.
As for the wedding itself. There was a schedule of events that I filled out and he was awesome in wrangling all the people necessary for speeches, blessings, and dances. He was understanding and literally kept the dance floor FULL the entire time. So many people said we had on of the best weddings they've been too and I have to give a lot of that to Scott and Cape Tunes for helping to create that atmosphere and flow of the night.

Scott recently did our wedding at Ocean Edge. I can not say enough fantastic things about him. From the first time I met him until the last minute of our wedding, he was by far the easiest vendor to work with. He made sure that every part of our wedding day went smoothly. Once we entered the ballroom, he was basically our coordinator! Highly Recommend!!! We hired Cape Tunes (specifically, Scott Rosenthal) for the entertainment portion of our wedding, and we couldn't have been happier with our decision. From day 1, Scott was responsive, upbeat, and helpful. He was always happy to answer any questions we had about music, uplighting, or otherwise, and worked with us to put a package together that was exactly what we wanted. On game day, he did an awesome job MCing our reception and after party, and played music that everyone loved (and we didn't give him much guidance, other than a Do Not Play List and a couple Must Plays). During the early part of the reception he played dance songs / some oldies sing-a-longs that everyone could enjoy (older guests included), and in the later half of the night the music switched to top 40s / younger genres. Also, I had a surprise planned where all of the groomsmen would sing to my Mom (as a joke), and Scott worked with me in the days prior to make sure everything went off without hitch. Overall, a great experience!!!

DJ Scott Rosenthal was awesome! Everyone from our party is still talking about how great our music was and how the dance floor was bumping all night. Scott really listened to what we were looking for and he played the right music at the right time - dinner music was Michael Buble, then early on in the reception he played more of the oldies so our older guests felt comfortable on the dance floor and everyone could sing along and have fun. Later in the evening he played the top 40's and other hot dance music so our bridal party and friends could dance the night away. He was friendly, extremely responsive with his communication, we never worried that he wouldn't get back to us promptly regarding any question or concern. Uplighting was beautiful. I would 100% recommend his services, we were extremely pleased and happy!

We used Scott as a DJ for our wedding last week and he was fabulous. From the very beginning he was great- very quick with email and very friendly. He listened to everything we wanted and delivered. He was very helpful with assisting us in creating the best possible play list. At the actual wedding he stuck to the playlist and did not allow requests because we asked him not to. Scott went ABOVE and BEYOND for us on our wedding day! Not only does he make an AMAZING party, he cares about his clients beyond compare. Our maid of honor could not make our wedding (as she was having her 1st child, the SAME day) but she had a special surprise for us as she taped her toast to be played at our reception. The day before our wedding, we met Scott and attempted to try the video beforehand to no avail. Scott from Cape Tunes was such a pleasure to work with. He is easy to talk to, flexible, knowledgeable, fun, and talented. He is not the type of DJ that tries to be the star of the evening-he lets the bride and groom shine all night long while working the crowd and getting the guests on the dance floor and having fun! I have no idea how is does it, but he does!! He has a knack for judging the crowd and he plays music based on how the guests respond. Upon our initial meeting this is exactly what he told me and I decided to let him take the complete control of the music (other than the formal songs and a few requests and suggestions) and I am SO glad I did. All of our guests had such a blast and they danced all night long! No one wanted the night to end. Scott really knows what he is doing and I am so glad I chose Cape Tunes!
PS- The Uplighting offered by Cape Tunes was amazing. It gave the perfect touch that the reception needed once the sun went down and it looks outstanding in all of the pictures!

I was recommend to contact Scott Rosenthal by a close friend. Scott is a known DJ from the Cape for quite some time. I originally contacted him the fall before my wedding and it was a good thing I did! I was lucky enough he still had the date of my wedding available! He was very easy to work with and we never even had to meet up once. He played the songs as requested and provided great uplighting! My only recommendation for brides out there is I wanted a traditional wedding with bouquet toss, garter toss etc. All of that seemed to take up a lot of extra time and it was hard to even get a second to take it all in! Made the night go by super fast! Overall, I had nothing to worry about and he made it a great party atmosphere!!! Very professional and highly recommended!

Scott is a fantastic DJ! He met with us well before our wedding and went over every little detail of our wedding with us. Our wedding was on 4/26/14 at Ocean Edge a Resort in Brewster. The day of our wedding Scott was there early and had everything ready to go (including the up lighting he provided us). We picked Scott and Cape Tunes for a variety of reasons. We liked his personality and sense of humor, which we felt were important factors for a DJ. We also liked that he was willing to let us play some more unique music (my husband works in video game development, so we wanted to use some music for video games). We also liked the fact that he drove a hummer. Considering we were having a winter wedding, having a car that can handle the snow was vital.
We found Scott to be very friendly and professional, and I have to say we were very happy with his work. I would definitely recommend him to anybody looking for a charismatic DJ in the South Shore.
